DON’T IGNORE STRESS!
Did you know this month is national #stressawarenessmonth? According to the Mental health Foundation, 74% of UK adults have felt so stressed at some point over the last year they felt overwhelmed or unable to cope.
Stress is a major factor in mental health problems including anxiety and depression. It is also linked to physical health problems like heart disease, problems with our immune system, insomnia and digestive problems. Which is why is so important to raise awareness as it is linked to many other issues and shouldn’t be taken lightly.
Looking after yourself from the inside out, making time for self care and being open about problems can really help with stress levels.
